Lise Jenkins

I am the chairwoman for the Certified Master Naturalist Volunteer program, offered by NC Cooperative Extension, Chatham and Durham counties.

From 2017-21 I co-authored the Absentee Gardeners with Kit Flynn, a weekly garden column published in several North Carolina newspapers. Previously, I produced an award-winning radio show and podcast for the NC Extension Master Gardener Volunteers and then went on to create a podcast for the Triangle Gardener magazine. In my free time time I volunteer as a Durham County Master Gardener and captain a synchronized swim team.
