Desirability can be a fleeting.  Some plants once loved and sought after can find themselves consigned to history’s trash heap.  In this article, published in the Durham county Master Gardener newsletter, I explore sacred herbs of the medieval Anglo-Saxons.  Plants that were once sacred are now considered invasive weeds.
