Is it easier to believe in witches or killer fungus? Personally, I’m scared by the idea of killer fungus. But many people find it easier to believe in witches. At least they did in Salem, a long time ago.
In December 1691, two young girls in Salem Massachusetts succumbed to an attack of violent “fits.” They screamed, threw things, their muscles contorted into strange positions, and they uttered odd sounds.
